Inquest adopts and underwrites the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). While following the Best Practice Guidelines of COPE, we abide by its Code of Conduct to deal with any potential cases of misconduct. All the authors are expected to comply with, best practice in publication ethics, especially with regard to authorship, have high standards of research ethics, data fabrication, publication redundancy, plagiarism, figure manipulation, and dual submission.
In the cases of finding conclusive evidence of misconduct, we shall take actions to amend the submitted scientific record, which may include issuing a correction or retraction, depending on the intensity. The Editor-in-chief will have the final word regarding any disputes.
